:: Interview by S. Mata ::
Dubbing herself "The Biggest Midget in the
Game", she stands a mere five foot tall... yet often towers in the
ring, particularly over opponents who underestimate her. And make no
mistake about it... not taking Lexx as serious as you should in a fight
is a sure way to make certain you lose, and badly.
This 24 year old whirlwind has been tearing up rings in her native Great
Britain for a few years now, and has even made a trip over to the U.S.,
where she won even more fans with her fast, aggressive,
take-no-prisoners style. LadySports Online is proud to introduce this
Giant Killer to fans worldwide!
The Stats:
LADYSPORTS: When did you
first get into the sport?
LEXX: I'd been watching the sport from a very early age but I didn't
start training until I was 19 years old.
LS: Who trained you?
L: Primarily the UK Hardcore Icon, Iceman and Tony
Spitfire, but I've also had additional training from Tracy Smothers,
Mike Kehner, Trent Acid and Amy Lee, to name just a few, as well as
seminars with D'Lo Brown and Mike Quackenbush.
LS: What was your biggest
influence to become a wrestler?
L: I'd say Raven. He was the first wrestler who
stopped me in my tracks and made me think, "Now there's someone
who's different!" I liked his whole outcast persona and everything
he did in ECW and it really made me want to get in there and do it
myself.
LS: What other sports do you
have an interest in?
L: None particularly. I used to be pretty keen on tennis. Not
so much anymore, though.
LS: How would you describe
yourself in terms of attitude, personality, likes, dislikes, and
strengths?
L: First and foremost, I won't take any crap from
anyone! Not now, not ever! I can be pretty laid back and I like to
observe people, find out what makes them tick... but what I really
dislike are the liars, users and manipulators of the world. They aren't
worth my time.
LS: What is your most marked
characteristic?
L: I'm the Biggest Midget in the Game!
LS: What are you favorite
foods, music, clothes, cars?
L: I'm not big on food. Some joke that if I didn't need it to
survive, I wouldn't bother with it, which is probably true, ha ha! I
love music though, everything from AC/DC to ZZ Top with ever letter and
genre between. As far as clothes go, I have a real need for comfort and
I'm totally in love with my DC trainers. So comfy! Cars I'm not a big
fan of, I don't drive... and yet Top Gear is one of my fave TV shows. Go
figure... .
LS: Describe a typical day
of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
L: A typical day? Beating up the boys! My most important
workout would be squats. Lots and lots of squats! I'm a small thing and
naturally I work on my strongest features, which happen to be my legs.
LS: How would you best
describe your ring style?
L: All rounder. I can take anything you throw at me!
LS: What moves are you best
known for?
L: DDT, Leg Drop Bulldog (better known as a FameAsser or
Rocker Dropper), and lately the Yakuza Kick.
LS: Have you ever been
injured in the ring?
L: Unfortunately, yes.
LS: Who have been your
toughest opponents?
L: Without a doubt Pryme Tyme Amy Lee
LS: Who are your allies?
L: In this business there's no such thing!
LS: What has been your most
memorable win?
L: Madman Manson entered a women's match wearing a
nurses uniform. Needless to say, I kicked his crazy butt!
LS: What was your worst
loss?
L: To Pryme Tyme Amy Lee... I really wanted that belt of
hers!
LS: Who is the one wrestler
you would most like to face in the ring, but haven't yet?
L: Sensational Sherri. Unfortunately, that can never
happen.
LS: What type of match do
you enjoy the most?
L: Mixed matches. I like to show the lads that
anything they can do, I can do better... and then some.
LS: What sort of reactions
do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?
L: Surprise/shock/amazement/amusement.
LS: What is so special about
this sport to you?
L: I really have no idea. Perhaps I'll never know... it's
just in my gut, something I need to do.
LS: What are your fans like?
L: Mental and downright scary. I can go out and be the
biggest bitch on the planet and then some little 8 year old girl will
corner me afterwards and say she wants to be just like me. Pray these
children grow out of that thought! Ha ha!
LS: If you had the power,
what one thing would you do to improve the sport?
L: Get rid of politics.
LS: Where have you wrestled,
and what titles have you held?
L: All the feds in the North East of England such as
wZw, IWF, UWA, MEW, EuCW, WWP, RoF as well as GPW in Preston, All Star
wrestling which is the longest running promotion in Britain today and
also PWU in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I currently hold the IWF Junior
Academy Championship Trophy, but I'd be lying if I said I competed for
it; what can I say, I'm a pirate!
LS: What are your thoughts
on women participating in the sport?
L: As long as they're trained and can actually wrestle, then
good on them. I have no time for untrained diva antics.
LS: What was your most
unforgettable moment in the sport?
L: Wrestling in the old ECW Arena.
LS: Any regrets?
L: Some.
LS: What would you do if you
couldn't be in wrestling?
L: I'd rather not tempt fate by contemplating that
one!
LS: What is your personal
motto?
L: "If things don't go your way... make them!"
LS: What would make you most
happy in life?
L: My own private island and Ryan Reynolds... oh yeah,
and to keep wrestling as long as possible.
LS: Anything else you'd like
to add?
L: Please check out my site lexx-online.co.uk
for all my latest shenanigans.
